Once I receive a quote, what is the next step?
Review the quote. Call our office if you have questions. If you are
satisfied with what has been presented to you let us know. We will write a
contract agreement and have a meeting for the signing of the contract
agreement.

Once a contract is written, how are payments handled?
At the time of the signing of the contract agreement, there will be a
section listing payment outline. There will be a down payment due at the
time of the contract agreement signing. The down payment amount will depend
on the job. Our office would let you know that amount prior to our meeting.
If a financial institution (bank) is involved the payment outline may be
defined by the lending institution.

My House needs new windows. What is the difference
between replacement windows and new windows?
Replacement windows are units that are installed in the existing window jamb
of the structure. This is done by the removal of the existing sashes and
aluminum or other weather resistant material is wrapped around the exterior
of the window (there are a variety of colors available to closely match your
existing exterior).
New windows are complete window and sash units. The old window is completely
removed and a new unit is installed in its place.

I want to be able to make choices about tile color
and style. How is that handled?
When a contract is executed, if you have already decided on a certain tile
color or style we will write it that way. If you want time to think about it
we will adjust the contract accordingly. Once you have decided, a
verification form will be written and signed. The verification form lists
what you want, it is signed by you and the Contractor, and then the tile is
ordered.

When remodeling are we able to be in the house while
you are working there?
Most remodeling jobs allow us to work in the house while you are still
living there. Depending on the size of the job, it may mean that you will
not be able to live in a certain area of your house during the time of
construction.

How do we prepare our house for you to work in it?
Personal items and furniture would need to be moved out of the work area.
This allows us to get into the area to work. There is always dust from wood,
drywall, etc… by moving your personal items this will help with clean-up
following the completion of the job.

Who purchases the building permit?
We usually purchase the building permit. Occasionally, there are situations,
when the homeowner handles purchasing the permit. This will be discussed
before contract signing.
